Courtney Swanson, Owner, LPCC, LADC
I have been working in the mental health field for over eight years, and began working as an LADC in 2020. I completed my mental health licensure in December of 2020, and have been working as a co-occurring therapist ever since. I began working in an Intensive Outpatient setting for mental health and substance use disorder in a harm reduction capacity. I believe that your goals regarding substances are your own, and I am here to help you, however that may look.
I have experience working with trauma, and complex trauma. I am trained in EMDR, and have attended various trauma conferences. I have experience working with ADHD, Autism, and other neurodivergence. I have experience working with Depression, Anxiety, OCD, Eating disorders, and body image.
I focus on bringing a person-centered, trauma informed lens into every session. I utilize EMDR, IFS, and emotion-focused therapy to give a framework of how to stop avoiding things, and learn to feel and process them.
